Depth of Field

Depth of field is the amount of your picture that is acceptably sharp from foreground to background. In these pictures I created the theme of inanimate objects around a High School. Things that you past without notice every single day. 

Bokeh

Using the manual focus, you must slowly and carefully adjust the focus until the middle of your shot is in focus while the rest blurs. You have acheived Bokeh.

 Out of Focus

When you're going for an out of focus picture, when you're camera is mocking you and decides to NOT focus, take a picture and you instantly have this. Mistakes can be on purpose. 

 Close-Ups

For good close ups, you must turn the zoom until you have your model into a tight, clean shot and make sure the focus is crisp and clear before you take the shot.
